in the Florida Federation with a certificate for OUTSTANDING ACCOMPLISHMENT, FFWC PRESIDENT'S PROJECT 2004-2006 - OPERATION
SMILE for our donation of $3,000.
Throughout the world, Operation Smile volunteers repair
childhood facial deformities while building public and private partnerships that advocate for sustainable healthcare systems
for children and families. Together, we create smiles, change lives, heal humanity.
Women's Clubs throughout the state of Florida raised over $131,000 for
Operation Smile toward this FFWC President's Administration (2004-2006)
goal of sponsoring a mission in 2006.
THIS HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISHED ... enough money was raised
to fund TWO (2) OPERATION SMILE missions.
In August 2006 FFWC President and her 1st VP traveled to
Fortaleza, Brazil, accompanying the Medical Team
on an OPERATION SMILE mission.
