WE ARE PROUD OF WHAT CFWC MEMBERS DO FOR CHILDREN ...
-- Sewing for Operation Smile ... Two
members made 7 dolls, 9 blankets, 23 bags and 47 robes; materials were donated by several members.
-- KIND NEWS Conservation Newspapers (25) for local
schools ... a monthly publication that fosters good
character in children through rough articles and activities that emphasize environmental awareness, humane treatment
of animals, and respect for natural habitats.
This has been accomplished each of the last four years.
These do not come out of the club treasury, but rather are funded by member's individual
donations.
